Private brand airport club lounges are a series of surprises, some good, some cringe-worthy. The Rapid Traveler has a Diners Club card, a.k.a. Priority Pass Lite. Diners Club’s lounge roster is a motley assortment, few in the US, but strong in much of the world. There are awesome lounges like VIP Club in Lima, Peru, and desultory lounges like Miami’s F Terminal Club America. And wait till you see Livingstone, Zambia.
For those who are not cool enough to pull down some cancer at the Winston Smoking Lounge, here are peeks at Dubai’s Terminal 1 Marhaba Lounge and Dubai International Hotel’s Lounges (two locations, the First Class Lounge for Diners Club, the Business Class Lounge, essentially the same, with access from a Kenya Airways business class ticket).
Emirates is over in Terminal 3, they maintain a business class lounge, but tough luck for first class:
Marhaba, cool design and real food, too bad no Turkish bath:
Dubai International Hotel First Class Lounge, multi-level, with breakfast, lunch and dinner all on offer:
Dubai International Hotel Business Class Lounge, cheese, not cheeze:
